I am the CEO and Founder of Proximie and Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Director of Clinical Innovation and Strategic Partnerships at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. I am also Co-Managing Partner of KHP Ventures. In 2016, I drew on my surgical experiences and my passion for innovation, to create Proximie; a software platform that enables physicians to virtually ‘scrub in’ to any operating room from anywhere in the world; before, during and after surgery.

In 2017, I gave a TedTalk titled 'How Augmented Reality Could Change the Future of Surgery'. I was humbled to receive the British Empire Medal in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours for my work within the fields of surgery and medicine. I have also undertaken a number of roles to help advance surgery, including being a council member of the Royal College of Surgeons Future of Surgery Commission, council member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) Innovation UK, and part of the Royal Society of Medicine Plastic Surgery Section.
