Retailers are unnecessarily throwing away too much food because they are struggling to predict shelf life and optimise their inventory to sell at peak freshness.

Our solution enables retailers to scan produce at distribution centers and at the store to accurately predict days until spoilage. This enables them to improve inventory management and sell produce at the right time. Minimizing food waste.

Objectively measuring shelf-life enables buyers to better assess quality and optimize supplier agreements of produce during the season.

How it works?

Optical sensors attached to a smartphone ‘look’ inside fruit and vegetables and analyse their content. Based on key parameters like sugar levels, water content and other taste factors our artificial intelligence accurately predicts days until spoilage in real-time. This enables anyone to instantly become an expert in freshness assessment. Our software platform analyses trends, helping retailers optimise operations across their supply chain.

The result? Less food waste, better quality and more efficient processing.
