THE KEY TO SUCCESS

A CEO can’t succeed without collaborating across multiple disciplines, stakeholders, and initiatives. One of my strengths is building community within teams and across organizations. I grew up living and traveling in Asia, Europe, and the U.S., and was raised to appreciate and respect all cultures and people. I make it a point to find and develop team members with different perspectives and experiences, and together we manage change, drive business expansion, and make the most of every opportunity.

EXECUTIVE & BOARD WORK

I’m a founder, CEO, and board member. I’ve served as the CEO, COO, and president of investor-backed, private companies and have extensive leadership experience across professional/managed services and SaaS business models.

Since 2013, I’ve served on 10 for-profit and nonprofit boards as a member, advisor, and committee leader, providing input and guidance around M&A, divestiture, audit, CEO succession and compensation, corporate strategy, financial planning, change management, and more.

MY PASSION

I am passionate about helping people and organizations grow. I guide C-suite and boardroom evolution and advocate for “servant leadership” at every level. I’m also committed to increasing diversity in every organization where I have influence. I believe that if you can help, you must help.

It has been my honor to become a sought-after speaker and writer for a wide range of organizations and publications. I’ve been quoted and featured in Bloomberg, Entrepreneur, Forbes, Fortune, InformationWeek, Nasdaq.com, The Street, and WSJ, among others, and have been asked to speak at a wide range of conferences. It seems like I’m always on a stage somewhere, speaking to CEOs and leadership groups, including a very memorable experience facilitating a discussion between the CEOs of Netflix, Merck, Wells Fargo, Waste Management, and others, during a Microsoft CEO Summit.

MY CURRENT VENTURE

I built Athena Alliance to help executives learn at the speed of business, find community with their peers, and access opportunities in the C-suite and boardrooms. The fully remote, SaaS-based platform integrates knowledge-sharing and collaboration, and has allowed us to grow an international network of 5,000+ members, partners, and friends from hundreds of companies including Amazon, Autodesk, Bank of America, Intel, Intuit, Microsoft, Quinstreet, and Stripe..
