Koffie Labs is the ultimate anti-disruption in commercial insurance: price risk using relevant data that reflects actual exposure in a web-forward approach delivering efficiency and transparency. We're actively hiring in data science, software engineering and underwriting. If you are excited about autonomous vehicles, changing mobility patterns, logistics/3PL, trucks or alternative data, would love to hear from you!

I've been working with data for 15+ years-- in 2005 my first company led the development of neighborhood boundaries and public transit as data products. Licensed data to all major local search properties including Fb, Google, Apple, Ask.com, YP.com, Y! and 100s of 'smaller' companies (eg airbnb, TripAdvisor). Later delivered data-on-demand, first via API, later on-demand mapping a la hosted postgis, and Tableau Software was a major customer.

More recently I worked with a startup that uses location data to derive signal, supporting strategies of quant hedge funds. Since then I've been an EIR at a leading government consultancy and patiently researched and written about data-derived thinking. I enjoy alpha hunting by identifying novel inputs to define new features, resulting in unique data collections. Excited by working with data scientists, software engineers and customers to bring new product to market.

If we don't know each other, try introducing yourself with some meaningful context rather than a request (which I won't accept). And think: do I want to develop professional contacts or collect more names?
