Curtis started his career in the construction industry working with various contractors to meet builders’ obligations in defect liabilities on completed properties and issues concerning structural warranties. After developing the business system and processes to suit the requirements of the builder and successfully implementing it, Curtis identified a need in the industry and went on to found simPRO Software, the distribution company for simPRO - which later merged with Acorn Software and Service Management, the developer for simPRO.

He has strived to work on both internal business units and processes and has worked closely with many companies using the system to improve their own operations. As a co-founder and director at simPRO, he has built and lead many of the companies teams across sales, delivery, technology and marketing as well as different country operations.
