I am the Founder & CEO at TagHive Inc., incorporated on April 25, 2017. TagHive is a Samsung-funded education technology company with headquarters in South Korea and an office in India. The company’s offerings include clicker-based classroom response systems and AI-powered self-assessment solutions. The company sells its clicker solution under the “Class Saathi” brand in India and under the “ClassKey” brand elsewhere.
Our classroom response system is currently being used in over 400 schools (in India and South Korea combined) and over 40,000 students have used our AI-powered self-assessment solution.
I come from a small village in India which had no good schools. From there, I went on to study in the best of schools across 3 countries. That led me to believe that Education is a great equalizer in life and that technology can help improve the quality of education. With these beliefs, we have built the interactive classroom solution to positively impact the lives of kids studying in schools like those in my village.
Class Saathi is an award-winning world-first clicker solution to work on mobile phones. We have filed 21 IPs (Intellectual Property) of which 10 are registered. Class Saathi solution is affordable and does not need any infrastructure (internet, electricity, projectors, etc.) in the classrooms. Class Saathi has been proven to increase student participation and learning outcomes while connecting all the stakeholders in the education system. In our pilot tests with 1000+ students in Varanasi (India), the schools showed a 10% increase in attendance and a 8% increase in learning outcomes. We also launched our Class Saathi solution in 2 districts of Madhya Pradesh (India). HCL Foundation, Moinee Foundation and Lupin Foundation are some of our other paying customers.
