Clement Pang United States - Menlo Park, California

Clement Pang is a co-founder and co-CEO of Lirvana Labs, a startup that creates an AI Learning Companion to teach children the critical literacy and reasoning skills that change lives and destinies. With over 14 years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and leadership, Clement has a passion for building purposeful products that leverage the power of AI and data to solve real-world problems and improve human well-being.

Prior to Lirvana Labs, Clement was a VP and Principal Engineer at VMware, where he worked on the Modern Applications Platform Business Unit. He was also the Chief Architect and Co-founder of Wavefront, a SaaS product that provides a massively scalable time-series database and query engine for engineers. Clement led the design and development of the software that handled beyond 20 million data points per second on public clouds with real-time query capabilities. Before Wavefront, Clement was a Staff Engineer at Google, where he led the infrastructure group that protected Google properties from fraud and abuse using signals and machine learning models. Clement holds a degree in CS and ECE from Rice University, where he was recognized as an Outstanding Young Engineering Alumni, and a Master of Christian Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is active in the Bay Area Asian American community through volunteer work with the Chinese diaspora.
