With four years of startup experience, I have experienced tremendous personal growth and development of various skills. Much of my knowledge and expertise of startups is rooted in my three and half year career at Waitr Inc (Nasdaq: WTRH) as I watched and worked in a hyper-growth work setting.
Starting as a delivery driver, moving onto customer service management, and then finally working as an intern with operations as a data intelligence analyst. While on this team is where I discovered a fascination with using data to identify operational inefficiencies. This analysis resulted in the prompt action of management to root out driver sentiment, which I found to be driving poor customer service, which was resulting in tension between customers, drivers, and management.
More recently, I have moved on to co-founding my own company Mallard Bay Outdoors. Our main goal is to drive bookings for guides, charter captains, and outfitter owners. We plan to do this by providing any services necessary to draw in qualified leads for our clients. While simultaneously offering our Mallard Bay platform for booking exclusively through us to nurture loyal customers who trust our vision for improving the booking experience without breaking the personal connection between outfitters and their clients.
