Founder and CEO of TravelX, the first blockchain-based distribution protocol that is transforming the way we know Travel. He is also founder and general partner of Newtopia, an early stage VC that aims to become the main engine of Latam entrepreneurial ecosystem investing in 1000 stat ups.

He has founded and led, as CEO, Almundo, one of Latin America’s biggest travel companies with operations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. Almundo is an omnichannel agency that has a strong focus on technology and innovation and has reached almost $500 million in GB and $60 million in annual revenues. The company has been sold in 2019 to CVC Corporation, a Brazilian travel group for $75 MM.

He is also partner investor of Yavu Ventures, an accelerator that have invested in 20 Latam Tech Start Ups on different verticals and industries as Fintech, Logistic, Foodtech, Proptech, Construction Tech, Insurtech and Retail.

Before creating Almundo in 2013, Juan Pablo has been Chief Commercial Officer of Aerolineas Argentinas, Argentina’s largest airline and national flag carrier, where he has tripled its revenues in less than four years. He had also been deeply involved in the hospitality business, creating and operating three hospitality chains: Hostel Suites, HI Argentina and Hostel Inn. He has also founded ASATEJ in the 1990s, a youth and student travel agency in Latin America, USA and Spain, that became Argentina's number one travel agency in just 4 years.
