United States - San Francisco, California
  • 06/10/2021
  • Series A
  • $30,000,000

Kyte unlocks car-free living with better access to fewer cars on demand. 🚗

We love what we do every day and believe our diverse team of ridiculously ambitious, fun, and passionate people is what makes our company great. And so do others, because we recently closed a whopper round of fundraising towards growing our team, fueling our growth and delivering cars by the day!

The atmosphere we create at Kyte is fun, challenging, creative and full of deep passion to solve a real problem. Our company has lots of moving parts and provides as much responsibility as you want to take in. We are a fast-growing, VC-backed startup that’s begging for you to leave your mark!

We are hiring across engineering, product, growth, marketing, operations and finance for our locations in San Francisco and Munich: https://jobs.lever.co/drivekyte

Founding story

Nikolaus, Francesco and Ludwig formed a joint vision of a better and more efficient transportation system in the Bay Area in mid 2018 after they all had come over from Germany on very different routes. They shared a passion for transportation and had all dedicated their careers to different elements of the transportation landscape:

Nikolaus was a machine learning engineer at Uber and Uber Eats
Francesco built consumer apps for BMW car sharing
Ludwig worked with Auto Manufacturers on preparing them for the future of mobility at McKinsey

Kyte is based on the simple idea that there has to be a better way to give people access to cars.

With Kyte we are going after an incredibly large existing market that is characterized by poor experiences and inefficient attempts that don’t solve the one important customer need - convenience - and through technology we’re able to achieve that unparalleled level of convenience.
