I have over 20 years of experience in UX design and usability, including 12 years of leadership and senior management experience with UX teams. I am also an experienced start up veteran, with a keen understanding of what it takes to develop a team, product and company from Zero to One.

At InnerSpace, I am involved in all aspects of the business, from fundraising and finance, to operations, to product and development. However, as a product focused leader I spend a lot of my available time on the product development and the engineering side of things. I like to work closely with our developers and designers to ensure they are aligned with our product vision and the needs of our customers.

At Kobo, I was the conceptual visionary for their unique and award winning tablet user experience and primary inventor on over 30 patents related to user experience design. I was responsible for setting the strategic and conceptual design direction for Kobo's complete portfolio of products, including websites, mobile apps and award winning reading devices. I managed several teams of exceptionally talented experience designers, interaction architects, industrial and mechanical designers, researchers and prototypers who deliver the world-class Kobo reading experience across all platforms.

Specialties: Conceptual experience design, product design, team management, usability analysis and testing, interaction architecture, architectural design, software development.
