Over the last few years, friends and family and colleagues have tried to convince me that I'm an entrepreneur. I've always thought of that title for gifted people, not hard-working, Idaho farm boys.

Looking back, I can remember that at eleven years old, I purchased a cow and wrote a plan to create a million dollar dairy to pay for my missionary service and help my family. The dairymen I consulted about my plan said I was going to be the next J.R. Simplot, Idaho's most famous billionaire (I then realized the name on those buildings represented a real person).

Unfortunately, my plan included very low mortality rates and very high numbers of heifer twins. I didn't achieve those lofty goals, but I suppose the desire at 11 contributes to who I am now.

Many hard knocks later, I still haven't hit a "home run," but I've had multiple base hits and life has been a great teacher.

Through all the hills and valleys, I deliver extraordinary results over a short period of time. I'm proficient in:

1. getting to the heart of what's needed for a project, and what isn't.
2. designing, implementing and launching a prototype to market quickly.
3. connecting technical direction with the real goals of a business.
4. getting a whole team's work accomplished with only me on the job.
5. working on or leading a team.
