Three friends and I launched Crafty in late 2015, because we realized two things:

1 - People spend one third of their lives working, and to no surprise, each generation cares more about the employee experience than the last.

2 - The number of companies offering their employees food at work was taking off at a serious clip.

We built Crafty to be a centralized platform for workplaces to manage food, beverage and supplies for their in-office, remote, and hybrid teams across the globe.

Our goal is to help companies craft a better workplace by harnessing the power of food & beverage at work, whether that’s fostering connectivity or increasing productivity.

Breaking bread breaks boundaries. While food is a simple necessity, the way we eat has immeasurable value. Sharing a meal is one of the most basic expressions of generosity and care, and when a meal is shared, it becomes more than just fuel. We eat for pleasure, for identity, and most of all, we eat together.

Since our launch, Crafty has expanded to 27 markets across the globe, including New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Boston, London, Dublin, Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto, and Vancouver. We manage over 260 customer offices and serve over 300,000 employees per month, both in-office and remote, and our clients include companies such as Yelp, PayPal, Duolingo, Upwork, Brex, Sprout Social, and NextRoll.

After facing the challenges brought on by the pandemic, we pivoted from operating a vertically integrated supply chain into operating as a more scalable, asset-light platform. In 2021, we launched 20 new markets through partnerships with local fulfillment providers who use our technology, and we delivered over 800% growth in that year.

With growing uncertainties about the future of work, businesses need a solution that supports both hybrid and remote working models and evolves with the demands of a distributed workforce, and Crafty not only keeps pace with the rapid changes workplace teams face, but our team and technology are building our vision of what the future of the employee experience will look like for everyone, everywhere.
