At AtaCor Medical, we envision a new world of cardiac rhythm management. As a result, we are designing innovative solutions to deliver temporary, interim, and permanent cardiac pacing when, and where it matters most. Representing the future of temporary pacing without the risks, costs, and drawbacks of traditional methods, the AtaCor EV Temporary Pacing Lead System is designed to:
- Enable reliable, prompt, imaging-free temporary pacing with safe post-procedure ambulation
- Eliminate the complications associated with transvenous leads
- Eliminate the patient discomfort of transcutaneous pacing

The AtaCor EV Temporary Pacing System is under development and not approved for sale in any geography.

I've spent the last 25+ years obsessed with learning more about implantable cardiac devices. I started as an engineer in-house at Guidant when I was 21 years old and went to the field with the company at 24. That's when I realized... there's always a way to be better. There's always a way to build better devices, to make it easier for physicians to treat their patients and to make it easier for those patients to not feel like patients all the time.

I was blessed to be a part of the Cameron Health team, developing the world's first implantable subcutaneous ICD (S-ICD) that didn't require any leads/wires to be attached to the heart. Tens of thousands of patients are now protected from sudden cardiac death... and their veins and heart remain free of unnecessary hardware. A better way.

I co-founded AtaCor Medical to continue the desire to simplify cardiac device therapies for physicians and patients. No more leads in the heart. No more batteries in the heart. This is truly... a better way.
