Amboss makes tools to help organize the market on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. There is no central payment processor in this global network, so individuals and businesses need help finding and researching peers that could help build their local payment network.

We provide a platform where each node on the Lightning Network has a page which displays their connections and payments capacity. Bitcoin is very scarce, so it's a difficult decision to find the best nodes to start payment agreements with, but we help make the process easier with intuitive data displays and an excellent user experience.

Jesse Shrader is Co-Founder and CEO of Amboss, leading provider of Bitcoin Lightning Network data and insights. Formerly an engineer, Jesse is focused on supporting the ongoing development of the decentralized social payments layer for Bitcoin. Jesse is focused on providing coordination tools to the Bitcoin Lightning Network to help optimize the performance of the fully-reserved payments layer for bitcoin. He applies engineering concepts to manage the complexity of the growing decentralized network.

Inspired by the needs for better payment systems in the US from his experience with class action lawsuits involving US banks as well as what he has learned from traveling to countries experiencing double-digit inflation, Jesse is responding to the needs by improving the user experience of using the bitcoin protocol and providing access to advanced financial services globally.
