At Caresyntax, we are dedicated to making surgery safer and smarter. Our mission is to converge AI-powered software, devices, and clinical services to help our customers improve surgical outcomes. Our platform, an enterprise-grade surgical intelligence system, is vendor-neutral and equipped with proprietary software, hardware, and advanced AI capabilities. It can ingest and analyze data throughout the surgical workflow, including EMR, video, audio, image, device data, financial and outcomes data, and clinical and operational metrics to capture a complete picture of the surgical pathway.
The platform generates insights across the entire continuum of care—before the procedure with surgical workflow optimization, during surgery with real-time clinically relevant support tools, and post procedure with clinical safety modules. The platform also produces data analytics and insights for medical device companies, insurers, and other ecosystem players to innovate and drive the future of healthcare delivery.
Headquartered in the US in San Francisco and internationally in Berlin, Caresyntax software is used in over 3,000 ORs globally and aids surgical teams in over 3 million procedures annually.

Dennis KoganFounder
I'm an entrepreneur and investor in automation and AI in healthcare , having co-founded several ventures, and now leading a group that launches or acquires, and then actively builds new companies.
My main current role is the Founder and CEO of caresyntax, a global and rapidly growing data and AI company focusing on decreasing clinical and financial risk of surgical procedures through automation and AI. Caresyntax's clients are health systems, multinational insurers and medical device vendors. Caresyntax solutions are present in over 7,000 operating rooms around the world, including USA, Europe and Japan.
I consider myself a"global" pioneer in the healthcare AI space, building teams and products to address problems in various key markets ; also far outside typical clusters of innovation, like SF or Boston: for example Berlin, Istanbul, Tokyo and Sydney. This has been an exhilarating journey, as you get to truly understand that human health and advances in improving it are a universal priority that supercedes politics or any other short-term societal priorities ... wherever you are.
I am personally very organically rooted in taking on the challenges of solving healthcare problems through my physician-heavy family and upbringing , but have a deep technical and business foundation with degrees from Carnegie Mellon and Harvard Business School.
