autarkize scales a market-ready system technology with which a high-quality gas made of methane and hydrogen is obtained decentrally from residues (wood residues, fermentation residues, sewage sludge, ...), which contains 3-4x more energy density than previous processes.

This gas is suitable as a replacement for natural gas or green hydrogen for almost all common processes for generating electricity and heat.

At the same time, the plants produce biochar - a valuable soil conditioner for agriculture and a permanent CO2 sink.

The reachable climate impact exceeds 500 mt/a of GHG reduction and carbon dioxide removal.
