Our mission is to inspire people to live their best lives: financially, mentally and physically.

We do this by delivering financial products that improve lives and reward wellbeing. Our flagship product is group life insurance that inspires healthy business by driving meaningful engagement and impact while solving real business pain as a powerful platform.

YuLife has fundamentally changed the nature of life insurance, creating an innovative new ‘win-win’ model which benefits individuals, businesses and society. Our all-in-one platform equips your team with a workplace wellness solution they value and use: staff wellbeing challenges, virtual GP, on-demand mental health, financial protection and rewards.

The highly engaging, game-like YuLife app enables employees to complete everyday wellness activities in order to earn YuCoin, which they can use to buy gifts for themselves, friends or family, or to improve the world through planting trees and donating to charity. Over a third of YuLife customers engage with the company every single day, compared to once a year for the average insurer, and 87% report an improvement to their wellbeing as a result of having YuLife as their insurer.

“YuLife helps workplaces care for their staff in a way that offers lasting value - a unique approach that places businesses at the forefront of society’s recovery from the wellbeing crisis brought on by the pandemic, while helping employers tailor their engagement offerings to what employees genuinely want and need.” - Sammy Rubin, CEO and Founder of YuLife and former Vitality CEO.

Sammy Rubin United Kingdom - London, England,

I have been building companies in the life insurance industry since I was 21. I started my first company, Policy Portfolio, from my family’s dining room table. It was a joint project between me and my father, and I am proud to say that four and a half years later we floated the company on the London Stock Exchange.

At the time, I was the youngest director of a publicly-listed financial services company in the UK. I had material success, but to many people’s surprise, I felt miserable. There was a void in my life that working longer and harder wasn’t going to fill.

So I went travelling from Arizona to Israel, learning yoga and meditation, and deepening my understanding of spirituality. This altered my perspective in a major way. I decided I had to do something more meaningful with my life and my career.

When I eventually moved back to the UK, I had a fresh outlook. I became the founding CEO of PruProtect (now VitalityLife), the first life insurance company in the UK to reward healthy behaviour.

Now I’m taking this one step further, as part of my latest and greatest project: yulife. It is the world’s first lifestyle insurance company, and it has personal wellbeing at its core.
