Neville Spiteri is the co-founder and CEO of Wevr, an award-winning interactive software studio. Wevr was named one of the top 10 “Most Innovative Companies” in AR/VR in 2017 by Fast Company, and Neville was honored in Variety’s list of the “Top 30 Digital Media Executives to Watch” in 2017. Neville is a computer scientist and creative executive who is credited on critically acclaimed franchises in film, video games, and immersive media. Neville has been at the forefront of interactive media and storytelling throughout his career. Neville is the executive producer on “TheBlu”, a multi-award-winning virtual ocean experience, and Gnomes & Goblins, a VR title created in collaboration with Jon Favreau. Prior to Wevr, Neville served as Producer and Senior Development Director at Electronic Arts where he led technology and production teams. Prior to that, Neville was the Director of Product Management at EMC|Greenplum (now Pivotal), as well as Technical Director and Digital Effects Supervisor at Digital Domain and Square. He pioneered machine vision technologies at the startup Perception Systems. Neville started his career at Wavefront Technologies (now Autodesk) as a software engineer on the first release of Maya, the leading 3D animation software product. Neville graduated Summa Cum Laude from Brandeis University in Computer Science and Cognitive Science in 1992.
