Working on making algae mainstream and leveraging their incredibly potential for a regenerative, exploitation-free future for the planet, the human animals and the non-human animals.

With Vyld I want to build a regenerative "algaeverse" and establish this carbon-negative and climate positive rawmaterial in the non-food sector. We are leveraging the few already existing algae-based materials for our products as well as developing completely new algae-based products.

I combine an interdisciplinary degree in Philosophy and Neuroscience with a background as CEO / producer / script writer in the film industry with extensive experience in the social business sector. I love working at the interface between business, science and art.

My last project was setting up Europe's first cultivated fish company (www.bluu.bio) - real fish meat grown directly from cells without having to harvest or kill any fish. I'm also co-founder of CellAg Deutschland, a NGO promoting the exchange and cooperation of interest groups in the field of cellular agriculture in German-speaking countries.

I'm the founder of FOGMA - social filmproducing that is putting the cast & crew first and using their collective energy to produce the best art possible. We did so by giving ourselves rules in a collaborative and self-organized way .
I strongly believe in everybody being healthy and happy instead of exploited leading to this crucial state of flow that is vital to true creation. We produced two features films FOGMA style and had a disruptive influence on the German production market. Needless to say that the topics of my films are socially relevant and designed to have an impact on the viewers, e.g. TIGER GIRL (2017) that premiered at Berlinale was named one of the most important feminist movies by several journalists.

For the social enterprise Mein Grundeinkommen I designed and implemented a new way of talent management, a system that is a radical self-organization tool empowering people to realize their full potentials by freedom and self-efficiency, stimulating co-ownership and thus allowing the organization to lead and be lead in a scaling manner. I co-designed the world's first Universal Basic Income 3 years pilot experiment to study the social and personal effects of UBI (www.pilotprojekt-grundeinkommen.de).

As a trained FGASA Ranger (Field Guide Association of Southern Africa) in South Africa and Naturalist in Germany, I'm very active in animal and environmental advocacy. I'm also a certified Marine Guide, so in my free time you can find me either in the bush or under the sea.
