He has dropped the trading to focus on VCapital as well as his entrepreneurial endeavors. He has his series 56 and 63. Ryan has consulted for hedge funds and family offices. While trading he began a startup, in an effort to make a positive impact, called RK Inventions, LLC whose primary focus is identifying alternative solutions to everyday problems. He has 6 patents issued and several more pending. Ryan has products sold worldwide and is currently installing a new product at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has sponsored and mentored over 15 senior engineering courses between Northwestern University and University of Illinois at Chicago, working with over 65 students. In addition, he has consulted for various professionals on how to commercialize their technology. He also recently co-founded Beyond Barriers Therapeutics, Inc. which just won the National Institutes of Health Neuro Startup Challenge. He received a Bachelor Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
