Ubie is a med tech startup founded in 2017 by doctors and engineers to guide patient to right treatment at the right time. Ubie provides AI medical interview system for hospitals and general practices, as well as a symptom-checker type application for users outside of the hospital. The product allows users to know the predicted disease and its right treatment in home and enable hospital to streamline the entire outpatient workflow supported by the AI engine.

Adoption of our AI medical interview system (“Ubie AI-Monshin”) has grown rapidly since product launch two years ago, and is currently in use by hundreds of prestigious medical institutions across Japan.

In addition to the medical institutions, Ubie collaborates with various stakeholders across wellness and life science sectors to develop an ideal health eco-system.

Graduated from the Department of Medicine, University of Tokyo in 2015. Completed the initial training at the University of Tokyo Hospital and Tokyo Metropolitan Health and Longevity Medical Center.

In May 2017, Co-founded Ubie Inc., together with his high school classmate Kubo Kouta, a software engineer. In an effort to reform the way people work in healthcare, the company will start offering a medical interview system using AI to medical institutions nationwide.

Since December 2019, he has been a member of the Emergency AI Research Promotion Special Committee of the Japanese Association for Acute Medicine.
