I am the Co-founder of the Good Glamm Group and Founder & CEO of POPxo-Plixxo. I am also an MBA candidate at London Business School and Columbia Business school enrolled in their Global Executive MBA programme.
My story begins in 2013, with a fashion & lifestyle blog called eStylista. It would become the precursor to everything that followed.
Founded in 2014, POPxo was created to be a safe and engaging space for Indian women to lead their best lives. POPxo's tagline is 'Take it up a POP!' - and we live and breathe it with everything we do. The POPxo brand is something special - loved by so many women. With 50 million monthly active users across platforms, POPxo has become ubiquitous in the digital lives of women in India - with 3 out of 5 engaging with POPxo articles, videos & memes every month.
As we worked with brands on their marketing campaigns, the breakthrough of Influencer Marketing in India seemed imminent. So, we began building a tech-enabled platform to leverage this massive opportunity. In 2017, Plixxo was launched. Today, it is India’s most engaged influencer marketing platform 150,000 influencers onboarded. We have nurtured India's first generation of influencers - cheering them on as they truly came onto their own.
In 2020, MyGlamm merged with POPxo, together making MyGlamm-POPxo-Plixxo the largest content to community to commerce platform in India. MyGlamm is a direct-to-consumer beauty conglomerate. We are building beauty brands across makeup, skincare and personal care. Our products are sold primarily through our digital platform, with presence in thousands of retail outlets. The MyGlamm Experience Store in Juhu is a beautiful expression of our content-community-commerce approach.
I joined MyGlamm as Co-founder & President. I am really enjoying focussing on areas that form my core strengths - content creation, digital & influencer marketing & PR, brand development, and team building. Building brands with a special focus on community is what I am most passionate about.
In September 2021, we consolidated our strategy and announced the formation of The Good Glamm Group - South Asia’s Largest Content-to-Commerce Group. We are investing $100 million in innovative fast-growing beauty & personal care brands. As the Good Glamm Group, we are on a mission to build the global Digital FMCG Conglomerate of the Future.
