Dasha Kroshkina United States - NA

Dasha is a 28-year-old solo entrepreneur. Dasha has been officially selected for Forbes 30 under 30 and also recognized by the Global EdTech 800 list of the world’s most innovative EdTech startups and 200 Top Women CEOs and Founder leading Global EdTech Startups. In 2020, StudyFree became the winner of the Seedstars global competition — and its founder Dasha Kroshkina became the first female winner over the last 7 years of the competition with $500k prize.
She is industry recognised expert in growth and international scalability, cross cultural leadership and business development.

Growing up in Stary Oscol, Russia, Dasha has always dreamed of studying abroad, however, her family couldn’t afford expensive education overseas. Dasha was a smart student and always on the lookout for scholarships and grants to study abroad. These efforts paid off and now she has several degrees from international universities together with 5 prestigious scholarships to her credit.

Following her success, she became a sought-after expert among fellow and prospective students on studying abroad with help of scholarships and grants. That interest from the public in studying abroad for free or at a reduced cost sparked an idea of starting a consultancy service. With the growing demand, in 2018 Dasha founded StudyFree - a platform that allows students to find free or low cost higher education opportunities from the world’s leading universities.

At the beginning of 2020, Dasha received an invitation to join two of the leading accelerator programs - Techstars NY and Berkeley Skydeck. After completing both programs, her startup StudyFree has entered five new markets - South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Brazil and India - spiking a three-fold increase of users on the platform.

Dasha currently resides in San Francisco, CA. She aims to create a world with opportunities for everyone and to help students around the world make their dreams to study abroad come true, no matter what their financial situation.
