We’re on a mission to bring complex energy projects and physical infrastructure online faster. These developments are complex and more time-sensitive than ever given increasing electricity demand. Yet they’re often slowed by highly manual processes and disparate datasets. Every deal has unique factors that materially shape the risks and opportunities.

The Vor team has deep experience deploying and scaling cutting-edge technology that works hand in hand with industry teams and their expertise. Vor is building to evolve alongside advances in AI - leveraging new capabilities as they emerge while maintaining rigor and control.

Vor was co-founded by Victor Shao, an early DoorDash executive, Guillaume Nozière, a repeat founder with experience in Applied AI research at Meta, and John Bragg, who exited his previous startup to CoStar and previously worked in network security engineering at Capital One.

Vor is backed by leading investors and advised by experienced operators across energy, finance, and technology.

We at Vor are building software to help accelerate capital deployment & project development for renewable energy. We help developers, asset owners, investors, and other stakeholders make better decisions, move faster, and cut costs to improve financial returns.

My climate journey started in high school, where I spent senior year researching and debating "alternative energy" and climate change for policy debate, as captain of a top-10 nationally ranked team. Topics ranged widely, from state-level renewable portfolio standards and biofuel tax credits to space-based solar power. I knew I would come back to this topic at some point down the line.

The first chapter of my career was in scaling businesses, building marketplaces, and optimizing logistics. I've had the privilege of working at multiple high growth, high TAM businesses: private equity at Shore Capital Partners ($110M -> $17B AUM), Amazon ($130B -> $2.3T market cap), and DoorDash ($600M -> $80B market cap). Relentless execution and customer obsession go a long way. Lots of problem solving and team building across revenue, growth, and cost functions.

I am excited to parlay my experiences, network, and skills into this next chapter to help solve climate change.
