Ajay Lakhotia, an entrepreneur at heart and investor at soul.

At StockGro, Ajay is building a Venture from India with sight on Global Markets - this is one of the most insightful innings he has ever played.

Ajay started his professional journey in 2000 as an entrepreneur and disrupted the printing and packaging industry with new age technology.
He successfully exited his business in 2008 at multi-million-dollar valuation and shifted his focus on the IT Industry gaining strong footprint in India.

He then shifted his base to UK, and soon joined Capgemini Consulting implementing his process and financial management skills to setup their offshore operations.

Post his stint in consulting he took a break to pursue his MBA from Indian School of Business – ranking among top 10 Global Business Schools, where he got the opportunity to develop relations with leading business houses across Asia.

Ajay dedicated his hours at ISB to develop and test investment strategies & global thesis and was soon invited by ICICI Bank – India’s largest private bank to join their Investment Banking practice in Consumer and Technology Sector.

In 2011 Ajay joined Vertex Venture Management – Largest VC firm in Singapore to setup their India office and manage their India Investment. At Vertex Ajay worked with various technology startups ranging from e-commerce cos. to hardcore technology platforms.

Capitalizing on his relations with South East Asian Funds and deep domain knowledge of India market, Ajay joined Fosun RZ Capital in 2016 to setup its India office and head its India operations. Spearheading the India initiatives for Fosun RZ Capital, he played key role in developing the focus on FinTech & Consumer Tech.

As Managing Partner at Gravity Hedge Fund, he focused on Fintech Startups in SE Asia.

Ajay has been a visionary investor, successfully leading Global Funds and their strategies for investments in India over a decade.
