We're working on something new :)

I'm passionate about understanding people's pain points and finding ways to heal that pain. This is true on a personal-level (trained as an EMT) and professionally (I love learning about the hard problems teams face). I started my career at SpaceX and at the Air Force on the engineering side before I came to this understanding and moved into product. As I discovered the the multiplicative power of AI to solve problems and leveraged this from ML-powered search at Yahoo to automated insights at Flurry and most recently in self-driving.

At Uber I joined as the product lead for simulation until Waymo recruited me over to do the same and build the product there. Our team's mission was to identify difficult cases for our onboard system and develop the simulation technologies to iterate and solve for these critical cases.

When I'm not working I love flying planes, kitesurfing and learning new things!
