Scale Computing is a leader in edge computing, virtualization, and hyperconverged solutions for customers around the globe. Scale Computing HyperCore software eliminates the need for traditional virtualization software, disaster recovery software, servers, and shared storage, replacing these with a fully integrated, highly available system for running applications.

The Scale Computing self-healing platform automatically identifies, mitigates, and corrects problems in the infrastructure in real-time, enabling applications to achieve maximum uptime even when local IT resources and staff are scarce. This innovation makes Scale Computing Platform simple for IT to manage and administer.

When ease-of-use, high availability, and TCO matter, Scale Computing is the ideal infrastructure platform for distributed enterprises, global retailers, and SMBs alike.

Jeff R.Founder

Jeff R. United States - Greenwood, Indiana,

I am a high tech executive with a passion for entrepreneurship. I built my first computer in the third grade, and I started my first company when I was 11. Decades later, I'm still at it.

I am the founding CEO of Scale Computing, which I continue to lead 15 years in, from inception, through multiple rounds of funding, explosive growth, and many industry changes. Today we are the leader in edge computing, with cutting-edge technology and thousands of customers worldwide.

When not leading Scale Computing, I maintain a passion for entrepreneurship and startups, technology and non-tech alike. I am a regular public speaker on entrepreneurship and related topics; I am an advisor to many startups; I am an active board member at the NFIB supporting the cause of small business; and I am chairman at the GEO Foundation, a non-profit org which creates innovative schools across the country, in the communities that will benefit the most. I’ve even written a (somewhat outdated) book on fundraising for startups.

In short, I love innovation, and I love both creating and helping others create the products and companies that solve real problems for real people. I thrive on hearing that a customer loves what I’ve helped to build. I believe this kind of direct innovation and problem solving -- whether it’s leveraging technology, creating a new kind of high school, defending entrepreneurship, or launching a beer brand -- is good for the world. I am passionate about both doing it myself and helping others learn to do the same.
