Refine Intelligence brings a new paradigm to fighting financial crime: Catching the Good Guys.

Our unique technology maps the life stories behind financial transactions, creating a baseline of good behavior. Each incoming AML alert is benchmarked by our AI against this baseline, quickly separating explainable false positives from unknown anomalies. Financial Crime teams use this to automatically clear alerts, provide the evidence to regulators, reduce caseload and improve risk management posture.

The result: a true game changer in fighting financial crime.

Uri Rivner Israel - ND

I've been fighting financial crime for 20 years, working closely with the most amazing and talented fraud and financial crime teams this side of the galaxy.

In the past few years I've been focused on helping AML teams. Our company, Refine Intelligence, has a mission: helping banks regain the long lost superpower of really knowing their customers. We call it "catching the good guys", and it means detecting the legit customer activity that triggered AML or scam alerts, so it can be quickly cleared and resolved.

Here are a few more bits about me:
- I'm passionate about developing new approaches to fighting financial crime
- Moving these ideas from an early stage concept to a practical reality is simply awesome. It's the equivalent of a James Bond "license to kill". It means working with fantastic partners who look at groundbreaking technologies, understand their potential, and work hard on unlocking it.
- I'm a co-founder of BioCatch, a startup now working with dozens of mega-banks. What we've done at BioCatch is take the science of behavioral biometrics, boost it with AI, and unleash it against online fraud and scams.
- At RSA/Cyota I developed a pet project with our legendary CTO. Actually a 'Mission from God' is a better description. We called it Risk Based Authentication. If it sounds familiar, it's because it's now a fundamental principal used everywhere to balance fraud and friction
- I love talking, sharing and exchanging ideas about fighting financial crime
