Manuel Terranova is CEO, President and Founder of Peaxy, Inc., which he started in 2012 to help companies unlock the value of their industrial data.

Until 2012, Manuel served as SVP of Regional Operations for the Drilling & Production Unit at GE Oil & Gas. His responsibilities included a $5.2 bln order book and oversight of D&P’s nine operating regions.

From 2007 through 2010, he served as GM of Subsea Production Systems and Commercial Operations at GE Drilling & Production Systems. In this role, Manuel managed GE's subsea production equipment portfolio, including subsea trees and controls.

During 2006 and 2007, Manuel served as CEO of GE's PII, a pipeline robotics inspection company.

From 2002 through 2006, Manuel served as the GM and CIO for Information Management at GE Oil & Gas. From 2005 onwards, he worked extensively on company-wide due diligence and acquisition integration activities.

From 1999 through 2002, Manuel served in GE's Corporate Initiatives Group. Here, he led GE's SupportCentral effort — a knowledge portal that he co-founded.

Before joining GE, Manuel worked at Xerox PARC, where he was responsible for designing and implementing e-business solutions for Xerox.com.

Manuel earned his undergraduate degree cum laude from Cornell University. At the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), he earned a master’s degree in International Economics and International Law.

Since 2013, Manuel has been actively engaged as a committee member for the National Academy of Sciences and the National Transportation Safety Board.

Manuel is a German, Italian and English speaker.
