I am a molecular biologist by training, business operator by experience and optimist by nature.

I am a co-founder and co-CEO of Ovo Labs, a biotech startup developing novel therapeutics to significantly improve the chances of couples to conceive through IVF. Becoming a parent has been the most profound experience of my adult life. With Ovo Labs, I am committed to helping those who face challenges in making parenthood a reality. Before co-founding Ovo Labs, I spent five years at Bain & Company, where I led ~50 commercial due diligence and post-acquisition strategy projects for private equity and strategic investors in the healthcare industry. As one of the fastest-promoted non-business hires to Senior Manager in Bain Germany’s history, I had the privilege of leading teams of 4–8 talented individuals on some of the largest private healthcare transactions in Europe.

Before my consulting career, I earned a PhD in molecular biology from the Max Planck Institute and spent 9 years doing biomedical research. My expertise spans cell biology, neuroscience, and protein biochemistry. I’ve co-founded a molecular diagnostics start-up focused on early sepsis detection and created the Personalized Medicine Podcast (15,000+ downloads), a platform for scientists, clinicians, and entrepreneurs to discuss innovations in personalized therapeutics and diagnostics.
