Hi, I'm Anthony. Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile.

First, I'm a very proud Dad. My daughter, Lux, is teaching me about parenting and I learn something new every day. I think I'm doing ok (she smiles at me more than screams at me, on average).

I live in Dorset, with my kind, creative and brilliant partner Petra and Lux. We moved back to the Jurassic Coast after twenty happy and fun filled years in Balham. After years of talking to clients about quality of life, I thought I should finally listen to my own advice and we haven't looked back.

I'm Managing Director of First Wealth, a financial planning company I set up with Robert Caplan after the financial crisis, on the premise that there had to be a better way of doing things. In 2021 First Wealth was named Chartered Financial Planning Firm of the year, the Champions League of awards in our profession! I am incredibly proud of the work we do.

First Wealth is a Certified B Corp; a business for good that balances profit with the environment, our clients, our community, how we run the business and the needs of our team. Financial services desperately needs forward thinking businesses to show the way, to stand up for what's right and help correct the wrongs of the past. First Wealth is a business that creates positive change.

We work with entrepreneurs and professionals who appreciate a no nonsense approach to their finances. We're entrepreneurs ourselves, so we get it. We help people with their financial goals and responsibilities; working out where they are today, where they want to get to and then building a plan to deliver those desired outcomes. We run an evidence based investment approach, so you don't waste your money on unnecessary fees. As human beings we're hard wired to make bad financial decisions; don't worry I've made my fair share too, so our financial coaching service helps our clients stay on track.

We're plain talking, real people with varied life stories. We have no private wine cellar, no red carpet and no box at Twickenham. Sorry.

I'm in training for triathlon, so you can normally find me cycling the Purbecks with my club, Poole Grupetto, running on the beach or swimming in the sea (not in the Winter). The training keeps me happy and gives me the perfect balance between family, keeping fit and work. Look me up on Strava.
