Yannick began exploring the world of cryptocurrencies in 2015 and quickly dedicated his career to the industry. After a year in venture capital, he launched a consulting company helping VCs and startups leverage tokenization, before pivoting the company into a staking service in mid-2018.

His experience in staking led him to join Figment early on in 2019 where he kickstarted Figment's blockchain infrastructure platform, DataHub. Yannick now acts as Head of DataHub at Figment, focusing on onboarding the next 10 million developers to Web3.

When he's not working on Figment, Yannick manages 0x Society, Canada's first Crypto Art center offering not only highly curated in-person and virtual exhibitions, but also thorough educational content and generous grant programs for artists.

Yannick is also an active angel investor since 2015, and has recently backed innovative Web 3 projects such as Auroboros (Digital Fashion), Ceramic (Decentralized data network), and Lighthouse (Metaverse Navigation Engine)
