I believe that our core purpose here on Earth is to learn. No matter how much knowledge you acquire, there's always more to gain. Growing up with learning disabilities made for a rocky relationship with that realization at first, but now it's the exact reason why I've dedicated my life to building the educational experience that every student and teacher deserves.

I founded Nectir while I was still a student at UC Santa Barbara after spending my entire freshman year desperately wanting to dropout because I felt confused and invisible in every class. I've always known that our 400-year-old education system needed a serious revamp, but it wasn't until college that I felt the undeniable drive to make that change happen myself. Nectir was born out of my frustration with the education system, coupled with the knowledge that modern tech has the power to solve some of our most pervasive problems (when it's utilized thoughtfully.) Six years later, I'm humbled to have brought together an incredible team of teachers, parents, and fellow students from around the globe to help me build the classroom of the future.
