After leaving a long and successful career at Microsoft, I have realized that my strengths and assets lie in a deep understanding of corporate culture, technology and how they relate to each other.

I have also spent several years as an angel investor and mentor to various Startups in the Pacific Northwest. As a result of my Microsoft career and Startup involvement, I have developed a very deep and comprehensive network of investors, entrepreneurs, CEO's and CTO's in the region and beyond.

In this capacity, I have co-founded NLM Photonics with fellow Lewis Johnson. This venture is a partnership with the University of Washington developing and applying proprietary organic materials for next-generation photonic chips.
