For a while now, I’ve had the vision to play my part in making water safer globally.

Back in 2014, I capitalised on my 9+ years of environmental regulations and compliance expertise by co-founding Elm Solutions – with Accenture colleague and friend Elaine Kelly - turning it into a recognised sustainable IT solutions provider for regulatory compliance missions. For over a decade, I have worked on sustainable IT solutions to state, semi-state and private organisations before pivoting the company to Klir in 2017.

My research and our involvement in the design and implementation of environmental and water compliance management system for the Irish EPA and Irish Water have encouraged us to create the Klir platform - a SaaS offering that brings regulatory water data together so that water utilities can enhance their compliance performance and save on operational expenditure, while ultimately protecting the environment.

As an expert in the water RegTech sector and a water-conscious citizen, I am passionate about water and environmental issues. I strongly believe that implementing sustainable water operations and practices is going to be critical to ensuring water availability and sanitation for all human beings in the future.

2016 Green Entrepreneur of the Year, I also won the overall pitch award in the Sustainable Nation accelerator programme. I have a keen interest in supporting the start-up ecosystem in Ireland and actively mentor budding entrepreneurs, while also advising VCs and small-scale investors on tech ventures.
