I have had a passion for integrating software and hardware since my early childhood when I developed an application that turned a rudimentary text editor into a word processor with generic print capabilities. As such, I focused my education around this passion and pursued a BS in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Software and Hardware Design from the University of Maine at Orono, which ultimately led to my employment with Kepware Technologies and being immersed into the world of industrial automation for the past 20+ years. As a Co-Founder of HighByte Inc., I look forward to bringing new solutions to market that will allow companies to continuously improve and keep pace with the ever-changing demands their businesses see on a day to day basis.

Outside the corporate walls I have been involved in various technical working groups, where I have contributed to the direction and review of various standards used within the Automation Industry. As a strong advocate for STEM initiatives, I currently sit on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the University of Maine’s College of Engineering where I provide industry insight and evangelism around education in the area of technology.
