Inara is the Co-Founder & CEO of FemTherapeutics Inc., a Montreal-based medical device company that is personalizing therapeutics for women. Leveraging AI and 3D Printing, the company is developing the first category of customizable gynaecological prosthetics for the treatment of pelvic health conditions. Since inception in 2019, FemTherapeutics Inc. has gone on to be named as Canada's Top 20 Most Innovative Companies by CIX, been awarded Innovations for Equity by WIN: Women in Innovation alongside Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Taygerly Labs, and has ranked within the top start-ups internationally at Collision and WebSummit. The company has also been featured in BNN Bloomberg, Forbes, CityNews and more.

Growing up, Inara moved around from country to country, including Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Poland, Qatar and Canada. Amidst the vibrancy and multiculturalism, she saw widespread socioeconomic inequalities that has since inspired her interest in social business. She has spoken about bridging the gender health innovation gap, women’s entrepreneurship, and youth involvement in many panels, podcasts, and conferences globally. Recently, she participated in a trade mission to Japan with the Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development of Canada to promote women's economic empowerment. Inara has been recognized in Bay Street Bull’s Women of the Year 2022 for her achievements.

Prior to taking the leap and going full-time on her start-up, Inara worked in technology consulting focusing on corporate governance, product management, and data strategy/analytics. She is a certified board governance leader, and has supported many community-driven initiatives at Fora and Ismaili Canada.
