As innovator of ambitious and cutting edge technologies, he has filled more than 45 Patent Family during his career.
Aimed to give a tangible contribution to the Climate Change issue, Dr. Claudio Spadacini has recently launched @ENERGYDOME, Italian start up that introduced the @CO2Battery to the energy storage market, based on a patented idea and aiming to cut the actual Li-Ion storage Capex cost by x5 times, making the baseload renewable power production far more competitive.
Previously Dr. Claudio Spadacini has introduced the Radial Outflow Turbine for ORC geothermal and waste heat recovery power plant, at EXERGY, deploying +500MWe installed capacity and becoming in a very short time the second player in the market.
Before EXERGY, Dr. Claudio Spadacini founded SEBIGAS, which through an innovative biodigestor design, was able to penetrate the biogas market, with more than 80 plant built in Italy, Europe, Far East and Brasil.

His professional success started at THERMOSELECT, contributing into the development of an innovative proprietary Waste gasification process, using Oxygen at very high temperature and producing a Hydrogen-rich Synthesis gas that was sent, after depuration, to Hydrogen reach fuelled Internal combustion engines. Claudio followed the development and start up of a 1MWe medium speed (1.500rpm) and a large-low speed (750rpm) engines converted to Hydrogen-rich Synthesis gas.
Recognized professional, with strong entrepreneurship, with a Master of Engineering - Mechanical Eng. Turbomachinery, Energy Production and Conversion at Politecnico of Milan, Claudio has been granted with the Sesini Award as the best graduated student in Mechanical engineering in 1995 at the Politecnico of Milan.
