Craig GouldingCo Founder
After gaining a double first in Physics from Oxford University, Craig performed a variety of Physics related roles over the next few years including developing a new lens technology to bring vision correction to developing world; teaching Physics at both Oxford University and Australia's top academic school; and developing missile tracking algorithms for UK / US governments working in Space Command, Colorado and Whitesands, New Mexico.
After this academic period, he moved into Capital Markets where he was involved in e-commerce during the original 'dotcom' period, and rose rapidly through the ranks to become a Managing Director & CTO within a string of some of the world's largest Investment Banks, including JPMorgan through the 2008 financial crisis.
In the middle of this decade, he pivoted out of Capital Markets to focus on consumer digital banking and creating solutions for the mass market, assuming role of Chief Engineer in Open Banking at UK's largest retail bank - a brand new paradigm in the market. He was instrumental in bringing Open Banking to the UK.
In late 2017, he became heavily involved in the fintech entrepreneurial world and in early 2018 he co-founded Currensea, one of the UK's most exciting fintech startups which is set to disrupt an entire segment of the retail FX industry.
