I am a commercial litigation lawyer with seven years of experience at Clifford Chance, WilmerHale and Willkie Farr & Gallagher. During my time in private practice, I worked on dozens of litigation and arbitration matters. What they all had in common was how document-heavy they were: every day I would spend several hours reviewing, analysing, searching for, or drafting case files, such as pleadings, orders or letters. Every step of the process was manual, time-consuming and, all too often, stressful.
