Global Middleware pioneer and entrepreneur for over 25 years, with a proven record of starting and growing successful software companies. Keith has vast experience in delivering business-critical real-time systems to Fortune 500 companies across many vertical markets including process and manufacturing automation, oil and gas, transportation, and defence and aerospace.

Keith began his career with Texas Instruments and has since held CEO roles with a multinational systems integration business, an international R&D company, and an oil industry focused software products company.

Keith is currently CEO of IOTech, a start-up 5 years ago, which he co-founded. He has already grown IOTech into a multimillion $ globally recognised company providing Edge computing software infrastructure and management product solutions leveraging open source to accelerate product delivery and global adoption.
In support of IOTech strategy Keith became the original Chair of EdgeX, a vendor-neutral open-source platform, taking it from inception to becoming the Edge Platform global standard with thousands of users and millions of downloads.

Keith has been a vocal promoter of open standards and has served on the boards of LF Edge, POSC and the OMG. Keith holds B.Sc. in Computer Science from Sheffield Hallam University.
