I have been working in the domain of healthcare, clinical research and qualified software development for more than 20 years. My focus has been on clinical trials of all types and phases, supporting sponsors, study sites, collaborative groups, and pharma with clinical data management and source data integration.

Be it as team lead of the clinical informatics unit at the largest comprehensive cancer center in Germany, as co-founder of a medical software startup, or as active member of HL7 Biomedical Research and Regulation Work Group and HL7 Vulcan, I have been passionate about bringing clinical research and clinical care closer together. Now I am on a new mission to simplify and improve the way clinical research is conducted. Stay tuned.
