  • $35,900,000

Artie is a web3 company building a universe of community-owned characters that are playable across an ecosystem of app-less mobile games. Our mission is to make the future of gaming and entertainment more accessible and equitable for all.

Our technology enables our games to bypass app stores and be played instantly inside popular social media apps like TikTok, Instagram, Discord, and Twitter via their embedded web browsers. This uniquely positions Artie as the leading company capable of creating high-quality mobile games with playable NFT characters while other NFT games are stuck on desktop computers, unable to get past Apple and Google.

We believe the next world-class gaming company will be a 360° entertainment juggernaut. It will operate across media. It will distribute games directly to its community. It will empower its players by making them owners. It will inspire them to create their own experiences. And it will bring its community together, online and in real life, forging meaningful human connections.

Our team is from Riot Games, Activision/Blizzard, EA, Zynga, King, Glu Mobile, Harmonix, Playtika, Jam City, Playstation, Tencent, Amazon, Meta, Nike, and Disney.

Our investors include Digital; YouTube founder Chad Hurley; Zynga founder Mark Pincus; Kevin Durant; Tyler & Cameron Winklevoss; Cyan Banister; Anthony Saleh; Warner Music Group; Allen & Company; Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment; MaC VC; Roblox Chief Product Officer, Manuel Bronstein; and former Disney D2C Chairman and TikTok CEO, Kevin Mayer
