42dot is a technology company pioneering frictionless transportation services. Central to these efforts is the development of the Urban Mobility Operating System (UMOS) a cloud-based mobility platform that will accelerate the transition to autonomous transportation-as-a-service (aTaaS) with diversified self-driving ground and airborne vehicles.

42dot was founded by Chang Song in March 2019. The company headquarters is located in Seoul with a drone autonomy subsidiary, 42air, in San Francisco. The company raised 32 billion KRW (25 million USD) in pre-Series A funding from Korean conglomerates Kia Motors, SK, LG, and CJ including seed funding from Hyundai Motor Company. In June 2020, the company secured 17 billion KRW (14 million USD) from LIG Nex1, KTB Network, Shinhan Bank and IMM Investment.
