Alley Robotics Ventures (ARV) is an early stage venture capital firm investing in amazing teams solving the world’s problems through robotics and automation. We are based in Boston and NYC and are inspired deeply by the AlleyCorp venture fund and teams. We are proud to have AlleyCorp's founder Kevin Ryan as a founding limited partner, as well as his MongoDB co-founder Eliot Horowitz (now CEO of Viam Robotics).

Older stuff: Abe joined Verily Life Sciences (an Alphabet company) in 2016, founded the Cambridge office and built Verily’s Health Platforms product team where he was responsible for products in disease management, value based care, and health system solutions. He then spent a year and a bit launching the Android Tablets effort with Android co-founder and CTO Rich Miner.
Prior to Verily, Abe built out the Google Research product management team supporting Google's application of machine learning, natural language processing, machine perception, visualization and more to products across the company. Before this he launched Play Magazines, Play Books, and the US Voter Info product for the 2008 elections. Further back, he co-founded an online whiteboard startup, worked in the defense industry on unmanned aerial vehicles. Going waaaay back, he dropped out of high school to turn around the family's fishing boats, run value-added seafood manufacturing processes, and work on aquaculture farms.
Abe holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
