uFraction8 builds products around a disruptive new liquid particle processing technology. Following our world leading research, establishing new levels of throughput for massively multiplexed microfluidic devices, our technology will be the key to unlock a prosperous and sustainable future.

Our technology offers superior performance and cost savings against the big three liquid processing technologies of filtration, flow centrifugation and flocculation. High volume applications benefit by our unique ability to granularly match targeted volumetric throughputs and our ability to scale this beyond the physical limitations of competing technologies.

Maintaining an unobstructed flow path allows our technology to continue operation in even high suspended solid applications, with operation up to 46% volume fraction maintaining 99.6% +/-0.3% efficiency. Recovery of targeted particles is not hampered by penetration into pores, allowing unmatched recovery from low initial concentration. Particles can be selected out by size with single digit micron precision to ensure only those of interest are extracted, simplifying any subsequent detection or processing.

Our planned products will benefit the world in substantial ways, enhancing food security, increasing access to medicines and nutrients, preserving ocean life and enhancing operational capabilities of humanitarian aid missions.

Beginning our journey, developments are focusing on the most immediately impactful area of sustainable bioproduction. Hampered by the high costs of downstream processing from closed bioreactor systems, our products energy efficiency, non-dependence on consumables or pre-concentration and scalability will unlock economies of scale to achieve dramatic increase in global biomass production. Made with SS316L wettable components, customers using fresh or saltwater producing acids, bases, solvents and aromatics can safely scale their production capabilities and drastically reduce their costs.
