I am a passionate entrepreneur and have been running e-con Systems for the last 18 years. Our company's main business is helping customers integrate camera in their products. We have been pioneers in the area of embedded vision and we launched our parallel interface camera support for PXA270 in 2005! Like a kid in a candy store, I get overjoyed when we see customers deploy their products integrated with our cameras. It gives a sense of accomplishment. With this passion, I have traveled all around the world and even opened up new businesses for e-con Systems in Europe, Japan and Korea.
As a camera solutions specialist, I along with my team of product managers and sales force work with the customer in finding the right sensor, optics, ISP, interface to connect, host Microprocessor that best suits their application, optimizing the BOM, time to market, manufacturing schedules, etc. My everyday role involves in meeting Product management teams, sales team, distributors, partners, marketing teams and help customers to use e-con's cameras.
Since my college days, I have been a sales man with a hunter profile. I was the college placement secretary and the college didnt have one before. We bought in the first set of companies to the campus. I used to travel to dozens of companies in bangalore and Chennai cajoling the HR folks to visit our college. That was my first door to door sales experience and this helped me in the future when I took up business development activity at e-con Systems.
