After selling my first company at the age of 20, I decided upon travelling and found an opportunity to pursue China-UK imports. I imported goods to the UK for 2 years, and building on the connections I made in China, I began to see a large property investment interest in China, leading me back to the UK. I decided to reverse rolls and started to sell investments to China, instructing over 300 properties to investors over a period of 24 months, 16 return flights and a lot of jet lag.

After the jet lag settled, I realised that the business was beginning to negatively impact my own life, and I need more control as a member of the neurodivergent community. Using my extensive network, I decided to set up a business in Manchester exploring the legal sector.

Over the past decade, with the help of peers and a team of like-minded employees, I led the acquisition during the initial phase of the business, gaining hundreds of customers for various financial service products. Spotting the advancements in online tech-driven processes, and spearheading the adoption of these methods, I was then able to increase acquisitions from hundreds to thousands of customers per month and grew the team to over 150 employees.

Through the time spent and the volume of customers over this period, I was able to build a profile of the customer audience. Realising a common denominator for the majority was poor credit, I set about developing a solution.👇
