I am the Founder & CEO of VideaHealth, a venture-backed company committed to unlocking the value of artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve the delivery of healthcare services for dentists, insurers, and patients. Our technology improves the diagnostic accuracy of reading x-rays, which in turn translates to a higher rate of correct treatments and payments. VideaHealth leverages the precision and efficiency of AI to provide safer, faster diagnosis resulting in better health outcomes, while avoiding time-consuming, costly, and invasive procedures. This enables DSOs, dental practices, and payers to improve healthcare delivery through data-driven, reliable, and transparent diagnostics. Our AI also supports insurers by streamlining the claim review process, increasing efficiencies while reducing costs. At VideaHealth, we are demonstrating how AI will play a critical role in the future of dentistry, enhancing the patient experience while providing an optimal solution for healthcare providers, insurers, and patients.

In addition to my work with VideaHealth, I am a startup mentor at the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund, where I advise new founders on validating their product-market fit, technology, and business strategy. I am also a visiting research fellow at the Harvard Business School working on projects related to AI, health care, and innovation. I speak frequently at MIT, Harvard and in press and podcasts about the role of AI in the future of health.

Prior to founding VideaHealth, I conducted research at the intersection of engineering and social science at MIT’s Institute for Data, Systems and Society and Harvard Business School. I also worked with McKinsey & Company and founded ninu, a digital healthtech start-up that supports mothers-to-be through symptom tracking and individualized feedback for a healthier pregnancy.

I hold a master’s degrees from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and a master’s degree from MIT in Technology & Policy, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich and the first State exam in Medicine from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
